Sports Physicals At The Health Museum

Sports Physicals at

The Health Museum

Our program offers affordable and comprehensive sports physicals conducted by our team of experienced medical professionals. Here's what you can expect from our Sports Physicals program:

1. Thorough Assessments: Our medical professionals will conduct a comprehensive examination to evaluate your child's overall health, cardiovascular fitness, musculoskeletal condition, and any potential risk factors related to their chosen sport.

2. Expert Guidance: Our team will provide expert advice and recommendations based on the physical assessment, helping your child maximize their athletic potential and reduce the risk of injuries.

3. Convenience: By purchasing a ticket, you can reserve a specific time slot for your child's sports physical. This helps streamline the process, minimizing wait times and ensuring a smooth experience for both you and your child.

4. Access to Health Fair: In addition to the sports physical, your sport physical ticket grants your child a general admission ticket to the Health Fair, where they can explore interactive booths, engage in health screenings, attend workshops, and gather valuable resources on various health topics. Want to join them? Purchase your general admission tickets here.

5. Affordable Pricing: We are proud to offer this service at an affordable price of $10 per student. Our goal is to make sports physicals accessible to all families, supporting the well-being and safety of young athletes.

To secure your appointment, simply select the desired number of tickets and choose a convenient time slot. Remember, availability is limited, so it's advisable to secure your tickets early.

Experience Dyslexia – A Simulation

Presented by Dyslexia School of Houston

Dyslexia affects as much as 20% of people worldwide and often goes undiagnosed. Encounter firsthand what it’s truly like living with dyslexia, at the “Dyslexia Simulations” at The Health Museum. Although dyslexia is known as a learning challenge, those living with it often visualize and think differently than most.

This is a family-friendly, hands-on experience for adults. Participants rotate among four interactive learning stations that simulate various language-related tasks similar to those encountered in the classroom and workplace. Time has been set aside at each station to discuss experiences.

Become a member today and enjoy free admission for an entire year plus extra benefits. Membership pays for itself in as little as two visits!
