Do you like helping animals and people? Do you think you want to be a veterinarian, or do you want to know what being a vet is all about? Veterinarians are doctors trained to protect the health of both animals and people. As a veterinarian for a day, you will learn about the anatomy and physiology of animals, how to calculate the proper dosage of a drug, and injection techniques. You will also get to experience a little of what a surgery suite would be like by dressing for surgery, learning the different types of surgical instruments used by veterinarians, and some basic suturing patterns.
