Get up close and personal with one very important muscle! Bring a steady hand and an excitement for learning as you explore the structure and function of the heart and cardiovascular system. Hands-on elements include a sheep heart dissection, a chance to try your hand at suturing, and an opportunity to listen to and identify heart sounds with your very own stethoscope on SynDaver, a medical simulator that has been seen on Mythbusters and Grey’s Anatomy. The workshop wouldn’t be complete without an opportunity to speak with medical students and flex some mental-muscle during a trivia session.
