HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS
Explore the different types of the healthcare fields and professions with the Health Care Professions Merit Badge. Scouts will learn how professionals in different health care fields work together to keep people healthy. Scouts will also be learning the essentials skills of some of these professionals including starting IV line, suturing, intubation, and more.

Requirement 9 - With your parent or guardian's and counselor's approval, serve as a volunteer at a health-related event or facility in your community (e.g. blood drive, health fair, blood pressure screening event). Report to your counselor what you did and learned from the experience. Rules of requirement submission stated above apply.
Note to SCOUTS: Get approval from your counselor before attending this course and bring your blue card with you to get signed. Bring a lunch, water and a pen. Wear your Scout A or Scout B uniform. Most importantly, BE PREPARED.
