Every Scout swears to an oath that includes duty to his country. A better understanding of American heritage, the ways in which the past has led to our present nation, and how we can move forward is key to truly knowing what it means to be an American.
Requirement 3c can be brought to class or emailed after. (Research your family's history. Find out how various events and situations in American history affected your family. If your family immigrated to America, tell the reasons why and share with your counselor)
Note to SCOUTS: Get approval from your counselor before attending this course and bring your blue card with you to get signed. Bring lunch, water and a pen. Wear your Scout A or Scout B uniform. Most importantly, BE PREPARED.
